The Biography of W. Janice Linton, Paralegal
Ms. Linton joined the office in May 2004 as a certified paralegal, having received her certification through the first paralegal program offered in the State of Florida. Ms. Linton completed the apprentice program through Broward Community College in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 1979, specializing in real estate, probate, and corporations. Upon returning to Cumming, Georgia in 1985, Ms. Linton worked with many local law firms and has also been a licensed real estate agent, a partner in a mortgage company and owned and operated an independent real estate title company which specialized in foreclosures.
A native of Thomasville, Georgia and resident of Cumming since 1969, Ms. Linton graduated from Forsyth Central High School in 1971, attended Georgia Southern University, and received a Paralegal Certification from Broward Community College.
She is active in Leadership Forsyth, currently serving on the Board of Directors. She was a founding member and officer of the South Forsyth Rotary Club and served on the Boards of the Chamber of Commerce and United Way of Forsyth County. She continues to participate in other community service projects. When not working Janice enjoys being with her family and friends and listening to music.
